How Ghana PAYE Tax Works

Pay As You Earn (PAYE) is a progressive income tax system used in Ghana. Your income is taxed at increasing rates as you move through each tax bracket. The first GHS 490 of monthly income is tax-free, and the highest rate of 35% only applies to income above GHS 50,416.67 per month.
